Top Ten TV shows

Favorite TV shows of mine. Counting down from number...

10. The Young Riders
Late 80's/Early 90's western. (featuring Stephen Baldwin and Josh Brolin)

9. Highlander: The Series
He lived in a barge on the Seine. How cool is that?

8. Red Dwarf
BBC space comedy? Can't miss.

7. Star Trek: The Next Generation
The first show I followed.

6. My So Called Life
Only one season, but how can you not like it.

5. The Simpsons
Bizarrely the smartest show on TV.

4. Doctor Who
I love the new shows, but love the old ones too. Especially Doctors 4, 9 and 10.

3. X-Files
I know, the show was on too long. The first 6 seasons were awesome.

2. The West Wing
The first 4 seasons were fantastic. 5 ans 6 were a bit weak. 7 brought it back around.

And...

1. Lost
I saw 1/2 of 1 episode during season 2 and decided to buy season 1. Watched that in 2 days. Bought the rest of season 2 on iTunes. Waiting until December for the Season 3 DVD. Have decided to buy an HD set before Season 4 starts in February.

Why are you buying an HD set of Lost before the HD wars have finished with their casualties? Blu-Ray was supposed to be the winner until HD-DVD came along with their mustard gas and their "We will convince these studio people that the Blus [as they call them] will take their money and their jobs if they are not careful!"

And the Blus are like, "We are just a simple people, we are just more precise with our lasers and our tightly-knit data writing. Do not fear us and hate us because we are the chosen people of the God we call PS3."

And HD-DVD is all, "Send the Blus away! I tell you, if we do not destroy them, they will destroy us! We must create a final solution, which is a pact with HP and Microsoft. They will provide us with the tools to take care of the Blus once and for all!"

"Mother!" cries a small Blu-Ray child to a DVD, before it is nabbed by an HD-DVD.

"Your mother is no more!" shouts HD-DVD. "DVD is gone forever, as you soon shall be as well. Ha ha ha ha. HA HA HA HAAAAA!!"

Yet some of the Blus knew... one day in the future, the God of Tekken, the God of Betamax, the God of Gran Turismo... He would rescue them from the darkness, and the evil formats of this world would pass away.

I was unclear in my statement. I will buy an HDTV before Lost starts in February. I'm waiting for all of the carnage to happen before committing to a new disc format. Until then there is always this guy.
